How to put a Retweet link in your Tweets

Hello people, I have been really busy lately since my university started from 16th and along with a full time job and a social network (in real life) it gets pretty tougher to manage and still be able to take out time for blogging and socializing on web. But i am glad that i am back blogging again :-).

This post is to help all those who still don't know how to put RT link in their tweets to be able to make viral tweets, and spread their blog links on twitter and finally get more traffic to your blog through twitter.

OK its pretty simple

This is how you are gonna start, type http://twitter.com/home?status=

Than type your message like this,

http://twitter.com/home?status=RT @zeeshanraza How to put a Retweet link in your Tweets http://tinyurl.com/86qc3h

Now you wanna remove all the spaces in between with %20 and all the @ ("at" sign) and #(hashtag) with %40 and %23 respectively.

so now you get a pretty long and ugly looking URL like this

Test your URL in a web browser, and than shorten when it works fine.

thats it, now you are ready to tweet with a RT link.

Twitter for terrorism?
The US Army has posted a report citing certain mobile and web technologies that could be used to enable terrorism. One chapter, entitled "Potential for Terrorist Use of Twitter," observes that the Los Angeles earthquakes in July were reported by users of the microblogging site long before established news outlets had time to cover it, writes the BBC.

Perceiving Twitter's ability to publish anything, instantly, as threatening, US intelligence expressed concern that terrorists could use Twitter to plan and organize quicker attacks. This September, for example, activists used Twitter to organize protests at the Republican National Convention.

"Twitter is already used by some members to post and support extremist ideologies and perspectives," the report ominously states. Thus, "[terrorists] could theoretically use Twitter social networking in the US as an operational tool."

A Nielsen survey ranked Twitter one of the fastest-growing social networks year over year. Popular with early adopters in the tech blogosphere, the site drew partisan interest when Republican Representative John Culberson (TX) used it to vent frustrations over rules forbidding Congressmen from linking to certain sites on their official webpages.

Bloggers also flock to Twitter to discuss politics in real-time, and to liveblog the Presidential and Vice Presidential debates.

Other technologies mentioned in the US Army terrorism report include VOIP (which can make it difficult to trace malicious calls), Facebook, MySpace, certain gaming networks, and satellite navigation and mapping tools.

In particular, mobile navigation available on certain Nokia handsets was pegged as a potential outlet for "Specialist use in Marksmanship, Border Crossings and in Concealment of Supplies."

As we all know Mr. George W Bush will be leaving the White House soon and will be shifted to Texas where he and Laura Bush bought a house for $2.1 million, I would like to do a quick review of the president’s kind deeds and highlight the efforts he made in killing people and spreading terrorism in every inch of this world. The total number of deaths in the entire world at the hands of terrorists since George W. Bush declared a War on Terror, amounts to around 3,000. Add the terrible losses in the United States on that fateful morning of September 11th, and we reach somewhere in the vicinity of 6,000 precious, innocent lives. Again: In only three years, terrorists around the world took the lives of approximately six thousand people. Your legacy will show that you were completely unqualified for the job: The failing economy, the wars gone wrong and the lies will always be attributed to you. . May the White House gates slam your butts on the way out? You used your people’s taxes, hard earned money and treasury as your personal ATM, You used your people’s faith and trust for your own benefits in the name of WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION, which up to date are not found in Iraq. Your troops killed Iraqi civilians on your command and raped Iraqi women. You’re nothing more than an ignorant, arrogant, self-absorbed, spoiled rich brat. My first enlightened month of blogging, December 2008

OK guys, I have been thinking of writing over this title for over 4 days every now and then, not that it was hard to write but it's just that I have been a little busy. I KNOW that this might look stupid, I mean why would someone wanna read a newbie's blogging experience right?? But I would still like to share and get your reviews on it.
It all started with blogger.com of course, I came up with something stupidly innovative, Yellow Candy, it just popped into my mind and I went along with it. Twitter helped me following different like minded people it was like a source of inspiration for me. I met a lot of people having dedicated blogs on Technology, and I realized most of the successful bloggers have a common niche, i.e Techno, I also noticed people have become trendy and they wait for a news to break up or a new gadget, plug in, software or a widget to fall in the market and they blog about it just than. It's kinda right too. This is how you manage to attract a large traffic to your page. But I decided not to do that, and as you can see, I write about different things, and just about anything that I feel good writing about.

• First step was to start reading different blogs that interest me.
• Stumbleupon.com helped a lot in getting traffic, I experienced over 100 visits a day on my very initial posts from this website, you don't get that many clicks, but you get a good amount of unique page visits.
• I personally did not like Digg.com that much, that's because I met a lot of people there shouting at me, asking me to digg their posts which don't interest me at all, they will digg yours without even reading just in greediness of getting their posts dugg. So you get visitors but not the loyal ones and not as much as you expect.
• Commenting on other blogs is a very constructive activity, it helps you socializing, making new friends and attracting loyal readers from different other blogs. It creates back links and a back support for your blog. And most of all it shows your ability to encourage and criticize others and thus is creates your authenticity in the web community.
• *Creating social friends ( I would like to thank those specially who helped me out digging, stumbling and Twitting ).

Also i would like to share my Future Plans here, which I will be implementing very soon, since i have vacations right now.

• Shifting to WP (word press) very soon, because of more comprehensive SEO plug ins, 1000 of widgets and plug ins and millions of themes that are available and the benefits of using dot com too.
• Since I am good with Photoshop, although I haven’t been using it for months, I would also be creating a premium logo for Yellow-Candy.
• Will be using the all in one SEO plug in, using appropriate widgets and plug ins with word press can do amazing wonders and show shocking results.
• Will be creating a wordpress.com blog as well, which will only contain a short review of all my popular posts.
• keep on twitting and stumbling
• And last but not the least, keep posting of course.
